LA Stories

I moved to LA just over nine years ago with plans to stay for two. To celebrate my nearly ten years in LA I’m drawing some of my LA stories. The entire project will be a series of 52 images. Here are some of my favorites.

Generous Neighbors
Every winter my friendly neighbors share fruit from their
backyard trees. It’s such a lovely part of LA culture.

Nature’s Playground
I love these giant root-y ficus trees that grow all over LA. There’s a particularly epic one
in our neighborhood. The kids can’t walk by it without walking a full loop around it’s trunk.

Jacarandas
Two things that are still amazing about LA during the middle of a pandemic. Jacarandas and bike rides.
