Melinda Keough is an artist,
illustrator and creative director.
Her specialty is creating elegant images with expressive line weights, graphic shapes and thoughtful negative spaces. These images span a variety of media - ink, watercolor and marker - but are all elegant and graphic. These images have been used in editorial designs, advertising campaigns and consumer products.
Prior to developing her skills as an illustrator Melinda worked exclusively as an advertising art director and creative director for 16 years. Her experience working in adverting taught her to develop a range of ideas quickly, to edit, to collaborate and to deliver a project on time. She loves collaborating with art directors, writers, designers, strategists, producers, music supervisors, editors and directors. Collaborating with creative people is the best part of every project.
Currently Melinda freelances as both an illustrator and advertising creative. In addition she creative directs a line of illustrated gifts and stationary for Ruby Sneakers, the company she co-founded in 2021.
If you'd like to discuss a project or a collaboration you can reach Melinda here.
